I was visiting some co-wkrs as they stayed there over a 2 week+ stay. From what I could see, and what I can analyze - this hotel is very very nice. The staff was courteous. The dinner was perfect. Lots of choices to choose from, the pool was immaculately clean and everyone was just very accommodating. I only stayed a couple of hours, but if I came back, I would definitely stay here.

We came into Tiznit to get lunch on our way to Taghazout. After lunch, we went to the park that is across from the hotel. On our way back to the car our toddler needed to use the restroom immediately so we asked the hotel if they would let us. The staff here were incredibly kind and the entrance of the hotel is gorgeous. The pool looked refreshing and there were a bunch of kids and families poolside playing. This convinced us to change our plans and stay at the hotel for the night. The rooms are a different story and definitely do not match the elegance of the lobby. This wouldn't be a big deal normally but our room was absolutely melting hot. We understand that the Aircon is not on when guests aren't in the room so we turned it on and went to the pool to relax. The room never cooled down. We spoke to the front desk twice about it and they sent someone up to the room. There was a language issue between my wife and the tech so we don't know what actually got said when he visited. We kept being told to wait for the room to cool down so we decided to grab dinner. Instead of going and visiting the Medina as was our original plan, we had to go back to the hotel to make sure our room was in fact cooling off. The air from the vent was not coming out cool whatsoever and our room was still boiling hot. Keep in mind that it was not hot that day at all, only 30° for a high. We spoke to the front desk again about it and they said they would send someone else. The day security person came up and also agreed that the air coming from the vent was still hot. We had the air conditioning running for over six hours but we're continued to be told to wait 20 minutes to see if it started to cool down. Eventually they offered us another room And I went there with the security guard and we tried the air conditioning units in those rooms but still nothing. We were told to wait again to see if the aircon would cool off. By this point the shift had changed and a new person was down at the front desk. So I had to re-explain the entire situation to the new person, Soulymane. By this point it was already after midnight and we were extremely tired and frustrated with the whole situation. Still, the staff were doing everything they could to try to help us. They put us in a new room again and had us wait while the new Aircon was still blowing out hot air in the new room. A different mechanic came to check out the units and it was clear that he had been woken up to come handle this. It turns out a fuse had blown somewhere and they were getting it figured out. Soulaymane worked so hard to help us out and even brought an extra bed for our new room for our toddler since the new room only had a single bed. A little after 1:00 in the morning we were told that everything should be fixed now and that the unit should start blowing cold air soon. It eventually did and I could see the staff up on the roof checking out the Aircon units up there including in our old room. They were doing this at almost 2:00 in the morning. Because of such a late night, we did not wake up early as we had originally planned to go check out the Medina since we were unable to the previous night. Although the experience was not great for us, the staff was amazing and continued to try to help us the entire time. Youssef at the front desk, and especially Soulaymane at night, really were trying everything to help us get everything worked out. The staff at this hotel is by far the best quality they have. I know a blown fuse isn't necessarily their fault and I know our situation was unique. This is what makes my review a little bit of a challenge because although our experience was not great, the staff really was amazing and did not give up on us. A huge shout out to everyone who helped us including the day security guard, as well as the mechanics who came out in the middle of the night, and anyone else helped get the situation eventually taken care of. Thank you so much to Soulaymane who really came clutch in the middle of the night for us.
