Hotel Il Castelletto

It’s summer but no air conditioning throughout due to owner saving cost I presume, been told to open windows & in the evening will be cooler. Lift, lobby downstairs & outside is much cooler than the rooms. Hotel needs maintenance throughout say no more. Shower head broken…much more to mention but looks like feedback criticism is not taken seriously..sad to say. Beautiful staff 👌

Stayed here with tour group. It was hard to get anywhere without car. Spent a lot on taxis. The hotel air conditioning was horrible in July. Pool was closed one night for "event." It was a rave, with drugs and X-rated activities viewable from hotel windows (our group had a lot of kids) and music so loud no one in our group got to sleep until after midnight when it ended. Not a good stay, overall. However, the restaurant was fantastic and the waiters outstanding and very accommodating. Enjoyed every meal there.

We came here for 2 nights. First of all we had to change rooms, because the first one was really really really dirty, with almost everything broken. Second room was little bit better, a bit more cleaner. Clima at the room was out of servis. If you want to take shower you have to wait 10 minutes for hot water. Towels and robes were really old and poorly washed. Only positive thing was the hot tub in the room. At 9:30 at breakfast is almost nothing, and overall boring options. Whole hotel had weird smell, spa was not bad and stuff very friendly. But I really don’t understand how this hotel can have 4*, overall I don’t recommend.
