Hotel Il Gabbiano

Don’t be fooled by the photos. We had our doubts. The place is extremely clean, comfortable and super friendly. Run by a family, the service is exceptional, staff are great, rooms have a view to kill and so clean. We have been travelling for weeks and we are glad we have ended in Italy with Il Gabbiano. Little boutique hotel that serves breakfast in your bedroom at the time you select. So much better than buffet. Eggs and Bacon is extra, however is fair priced and there are so many options. There is a bar near reception over looking the amazing view. If coming with a driver or taxi, they can stop out the front so NO STAIRS WITH BAGS. Also there are bus and taxi options close by as well. Simple things like bottles of water everyday also make a difference.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Il Gabbiano in Positano – it was truly unforgettable! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was a dream, complete with a beautiful terrace and a small Jacuzzi that added a special touch. The bathroom was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The real surprise came in the morning: we woke up to the most breathtaking view of the Positano coastline and enjoyed a delicious breakfast served right in our room, which we savored out on the terrace. It was pure magic. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would return in a heartbeat – highly recommended!

What a gem. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Great service . The room was very clean and the views are stunning. We had breakfast on our large private patio every morning overlooking the ocean. Thank you to everyone at Il Gabbiano for a wonderful stay.
