This hotel was part of the Riviera package tour. Good service by pleasant staff, good meals, and clean, comfortable bedrooms. The weather was wet, but a free minibus took us to the castle 15 minutes away. You can walk to the castle in good weather (2 hours).
Lovely hotel some of the rooms a little dated but still good enough and was extremely clean all the same ! Sometimes it’s was hard to get service at that bar but the service at dinner was perfect and food was also very good indeed.
The hotel is right next to the main road, so you can hear cars passing by, which takes away from the peacefulness of the place. At breakfast, the waitress didn’t replace my cutlery after it fell on the floor, and she spoke in a rude manner, which was surprising for a four-star hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, but given the level of service, I would recommend considering other hotels in the area, as there are plenty of options.
