A beautiful, elegant hotel in a quiet location close to the old town center. Everything is clean and nicely furnished. The beds are comfortable, and the bedding is breathable, so the quality of sleep is truly excellent. The staff is polite, friendly, and very helpful. Early check-in was possible upon request, which was a real pleasure for me after a few problems upon arrival. The breakfast is varied and very good. They offer, for example, freshly made pancakes. The in-house coffee house also has a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel.
I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were kind and professional. Rooms were comfortable and clean. I highly recomend the John Paul II hotel!
Right as I arrived in the room I noticed a spider in the ceiling. Right next to it happened to be spider webs. I then began to doubt the room’s cleanliness and found more webs in the corners of the ceiling, behind the AC and under the bed. I came to this hotel, as part of the guided tour, to spend one single night and it was NOT easy to keep our mind calm while lying on the sheets… considering that besides the visual uncleanliness there was a old house type of smell as you walk in and also a noticeable stain on one of the decoration pillows.
