I was surprised to discover such a modern hotel nestled in this charming little village. The recent renovation has left the entire building in pristine condition, with sparkling floors and brand new furnishings throughout. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a large, comfortable bed and plush pillows that guaranteed a restful sleep. The bathroom was equally impressive, with modern fixtures and plenty of space. In the morning, I fueled up for my hikes with the delicious breakfast, which offered a wide variety of options, including fresh fruit, pastries, and made-to-order eggs. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the village, with everything within easy walking distance, including the Rhine River. But what truly elevated my stay was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly. Their attention to detail and genuine desire to ensure my comfort went above and beyond anything I've experienced in Germany. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It offered the perfect blend of modern comfort, impeccable service, and a convenient location, making it an ideal base for exploring this charming village and the beautiful Rhine River.
Beautiful hotel. Friendly welcome. Immaculate room. Lovely old school building. Super quality breakfast, that ranged from homemade wurst to fresh cook them yourself waffles. Perfect stop on a walking holiday.
I’ve stayed here for the first 3 nights of my vacation and it’s been a joy. The staff (especially breakfast staff) have been really friendly. I’m here to hike and each morning at breakfast, they have given me a bag to fill from the breakfast bar to serve as my lunch on the trail and have also offered to fill my water bottle. The room has been very comfortable and very clean. I’ve especially loved the patio outside my room for resting/reading with my feet up after long morning hikes. Three warnings for future guests (these aren’t bad, just things to be aware of): 1) if you are staying there on a Monday or Tuesday, be aware that most of the restaurants, bakeries and the market are closed in the evening. As far as I could tell, there were only two spots in town open for dinner. 2) bring your own shampoo — I asked for some at reception and was directed to the dispenser on the wall of the shower, which is body wash. If you have long hair, you no There is no such thing as a 3-in-1. 3) After 6, there are not hotel staff on site. Don’t lock yourself out!
