I cannot say enough positive things about my stay. From the initial reservation, to check in, during our stay, and check out— we experienced nothing but exceptional customer service. Thomas was always helpful, provided great recommendations about the city, including how to ride the Marta to the stadium. He was so welcoming to our group as well as every patron I witnessed him interact with. The restaurant and bar staff, Phillip, Randy, and Nikki were also amazing. The hotel is steps away from the Marta station which makes getting around extremely easy. I chose valet parking for my stay and didn’t leave until we checked out. And the valet staff were also wonderful. Thank you for a great stay!
This is the most convenient hotel for visiting the passport agency. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room is clean but could be improved with a refrigerator and microwave. Our room did not have a good view, but I suppose not every one can. The valet parking is too expensive.
I booked a night here when I had to make an appointment at the Atlanta Passport Agency. My appointment was very early and with how far the drive was I didn’t want to chance it. It was night time when I arrived, and it wasn’t clear where the hotel was at first or where to pull for valet. I figured it out the next time around, and I was thankful it wasn’t busy on the streets because with all the one way streets it was overwhelming not knowing where you were going. I would suggest something bright or bigger to indicate where to go. Valet is $55 a night which made me gasp a little. I don’t even think South Beach is that much. Check in was easy, and the woman who helped me was kind. When I got to my room, there was a humming sound I could hear that would’ve drove me nuts all night. The hotel had sent a text prior to my check in that I could reply to which was nice. I was sent a message to check on me after arriving, and I was able to explain the noise issue and my room was changed right away. Ear plugs were provided in the room, but I had a very early and important appointment in the morning I could not be late for so those weren’t an option for me. The room has a modern feel. I loved the smell of the soaps and lotion. I had a comfortable stay overall. One thing that was off putting was when I was walking back from picking up food there were about 6-8 cops and other security looking men with vests on. I asked if it was safe, and they said I should be fine now. When I got in front of the hotel, there was a valet worker by the stand, and I asked him if he knew what happened or was going. This seemed like a very innocent question. There are riots going on in major cities, and I don’t know the area well enough to know if it’s safe or not. The guy seemed offended that I asked him this question and didn’t provide an answer but wanted to know why I asked HIM that question. The answer is simple. He was standing right there, and he appears to work for the hotel I was staying at. I’m not sure what he was trying to insinuate, but he asked me why several times. He could’ve just said he didn’t know. Outside of that, all the other guys from the valet were very kind, opened the door for me, and made small talk. This location is literally next door to the passport agency and has a check out at 12 so you can easily wait in your room for it.
