Beautiful hotel! Everything feels brand new. Location is one of a kind with a beautiful view of the Berlin Wall. Great facilities: I loved the 24 hours fitness area. Great breakfast and sublime rooftop bar. Everything you need is in around the corner. Very lively during the evenings. The hotel staff is upmost professional and very kind and accommodating. This is what hospitality is all about! For me this is really the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Berlin!

An okay hotel in a great location but definitely not a 4 star service or 4 star rooms. I stayed on a rewards night but still had to pay taxes for my stay. I did not have to pay any tax in other hotels on free stays. No IHG recognition. I am Diamond Elite member and stay about 100nights per year in IHG hotels. I usually get a complimentary breakfast and room upgrade at all other IHG hotels that I have stayed so far, independent of if it is a rewards stay or paid stay - here I was charged 26€ per breakfast without prior information, later I was informed that benefits do not apply on reward nights. Also the rooms were really small (maybe 12 square meters). Breakfast service left to wish for. I had the feeling of not being welcome eating there close to finish time of the breakfast (while they are busy setting up tables for lunch) Overall an okay hotel but not worth the money or points. The InterContinental Berlin is usually available at a similar price and 10times higher quality.

Absolutely unacceptable treatment — ignored, patronized, and stonewalled. I don’t normally write reviews like this, but the experience my girlfriend and I had at Hotel Indigo Berlin was so appalling, I feel obligated to warn others. Before our stay, I proactively emailed the hotel to let them know that my girlfriend would be arriving earlier than me. I provided her full name, details, and confirmation information. The hotel acknowledged this in writing and assured me everything would be fine. But when she arrived, she was treated like absolute garbage by a woman at the front desk — patronized, denied access to the room we had already paid for, and made to feel like an unwelcome intruder. Despite the prior arrangements, this staff member refused to honor them, acting as if my girlfriend’s presence was somehow suspicious or illegitimate. The result? She was forced to wander the city for nearly 8 hours with her luggage, tired and humiliated. She had to spend her own money to keep herself occupied and safe — when she should’ve been allowed to check in, drop her things, and rest. This wasn’t just poor service — it was dehumanizing and cruel. Later that day, two gentlemen at the front desk — whose names I wish I had, because they were genuinely kind and helpful — made a real effort to help and smooth things over. To them, I’m sincerely grateful. They were the only redeeming part of this entire ordeal. But the damage had already been done. To make matters worse, I wrote to the hotel management three weeks ago asking for an explanation and some form of compensation. Not even a courtesy reply. No apology, no acknowledgment, total radio silence. The complete lack of accountability is disgraceful and speaks volumes about their values. This experience disrupted our trip and left a terrible taste in both our mouths. Hotel Indigo Berlin may have a nice aesthetic, but behind the scenes is a culture of negligence and disrespect. Do better. And to others: I suggest you book elsewhere.
