Hotel Indigo Coventry by IHG

I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel several times, and my most recent visit from the 8th to the 13th of August has left me even more impressed — so much so that I feel compelled to share this heartfelt review. Restaurant: The food is simply exquisite — full of flavour, beautifully presented, and served promptly. The waiting staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Hotel: Immaculately clean, well-maintained, and with a delightful fragrance in the room. Housekeeping is faultless — daily cleaning is carried out to the highest standard. Yet, what truly captured my heart was the genuine kindness and thoughtfulness of the team. I asked the housekeeping staff for help in arranging a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday, and they could not have been more accommodating. The housekeeping manager personally took charge, and within just twenty minutes of our being away from the room, she transformed it into something truly magical. I am sincerely grateful to the housekeeping ladies and to Manager Julia for her approval and hands-on help in bringing my idea to life. The surprise was a complete success — the emotions were unforgettable, and the memories will last a lifetime. Thank you, dear team, for making our stay so special. I look forward to returning again without hesitation.

I genuinely couldn’t find a bad thing about this place. Very clean in general. Nice, welcoming attentive staff. Well decorated but not overdone. It’s everything you’d expect from a 4 star hotel in Coventry. The breakfast wasn’t too bad either. Would definitely recommend

Stayed here for two nights and overall had a really good stay. The hotel is modern, clean, and in a great location, just a one-minute walk from Coventry train station, with discounted parking available around the corner. The staff were lovely, breakfast was decent (just your standard continental buffet), and the room was comfortable. I do wish there had been robes and slippers provided, though I’m sure I could have asked reception, it just would’ve been nice to have them already in the room. The only issue I had was with room service. we placed an order one night but it never arrived, and by the time I called to check on it, the kitchen had closed. It was frustrating since it was late and we didn’t get to have dinner, but the staff did their best to make up for it. Despite that, I’d still recommend the hotel and would stay again.
