Hotel Indigo Edinburgh by IHG

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo. The room clean, quite, and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent too. Breakfast was the best we had at multiple stays in Scotland and Ireland. The TV in our room didn't work very well but it didn't bother us. We highly recommend this property.

This hotel was in a very convenient location and the staff were very friendly. The beds were a bit on the softer side but I slept great. My only complaint is that the hotel frequently ran out of hot water. By 0900, the showers would be barely warm, if not cold.

Staff: very friendly and helpful staff. Big points go to the breakfast staff (15 & 16 July). Despite a very full hotel, they made everyone’s breakfast experience top notch. Location: my first time staying in this area but definitely not the last. Easy access by tram to the old town and airport and walking distance to the train station. Room: we stayed in a King Room facing York Place. Previous Google reviews indicated that these rooms were noisy but I didn’t find that. Double glazing blocks out most outside noise. Now the condition and cleanliness of our room was a bit „meh“. The shower needs a really good clean and the hole that’s opening in the bathroom roof needs fixing. The bed was luxurious, I couldn’t hear other guests in other rooms and the available shower gel/shampoo etc was lovely
