This hotel is a bit farther from the Jiuzhaigou entrance, but the service totally made up for it. From the moment we got there, the butler took care of us so thoughtfully. The hotel has a strong Tibetan vibe and is super peaceful. The staff were all really professional and kind. We loved the bonfire party in the evening, and there was even a free light show nearby! The next day we went to Huanglong, and the hotel’s driver was so friendly and helpful. It was such a great experience !

Great service and clean, comfortable rooms. Conveniently located near the Jiuzhaigou Natural Reserve (you will need your own transport however), in a quiet, quaint neighbourhood. Breakfast buffet is decent. My only minor comment is that the bathroom in the room cuts through the main walkway of the room (the shower, sink and toilet are in three separate spaces) making retrieval of clothes and items a little difficult.

We were so glad to have booked this boutique hotel. The lobby was so posh for a 4 star hotel. Our room was so beautifully decorated with a Tibetan vibe and I loved that the bathroom and toilet were separated. Even the wash basin was separated (in the middle of the room!) They even made space for a small daybed. Why did I give 4 stars then? Oh, the Wifi was really terrible. Even the TV channel (CNA) which relied on the wifi hung. But I guess this cannot be helped as we were up in the mountains. We ordered room service and the coffee and tiramisu came quickly. Tiramisu had a twist in that glutinous rice was added. Interesting but still delicious. Loved the breakfast: many varieties of dishes and praises for adding special local dishes like yak yoghurt and chilli tofu and corn cake. And the first China hotel I stayed to serve hot soya milk. We had the dinner too. Dishes were delicious and they were quick to serve despite the crowd. Fried rice was really well done. However, the gym was dark and small without any gym equipment. I think there were a few treadmills. The hotel probably figured why would any guests want to use the gym when the visit to Jiu Zhai Gou would provide all the exercise one needs.
