Hotel Indigo Verona Grand Hotel Des Arts by IHG

This hotel is beautiful and in a prime location. You can walk to the city center and other sites you will want to see in Verona. The bar is really cute and has craft cocktails. The breakfast they offer is impeccable and their food service staff is their best staff, especially James! The in-room dining is so delicious and service is quick. Front desk was not wildly friendly but kind and helpful. We stayed in a king suite and it did feel a bit small, however, the terrace is very spacious and overlooks the city street. Expect a veryy small shower. The AC would not go below 23 degrees celsius and we felt like it turned off in the middle of the night so we were sweating every night, unfortunately. We did call the front desk to see if they could fix this and they sent someone to our room but they did not offer a solution so must be the norm. Other than that, we loved our stay here! This is a beautiful hotel in a classic Italian style. It is located at the main boulevard, where you find lovely restaurants and pubs. There is no private parking however public parking places are near by. The hotel has some nice offers in combination with the Arena theater. If you like opera, the Arena is on walking distance. Our room was spacious, with a high quality materials, in a classic style. The breakfast is western orientated, with an English breakfast as well. I missed the typical Italian hospitality, the hotel could just as well have been in London.

A stunning hotel, beautiful decorated and spotlessly clean. The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was huge. There was a complementary mini bar and fresh bottled water that was replenished every day. The breakfast was outstanding. All the staff were lovely and friendly and everyone spoke English. The hotel was situated very close to the centre of Verona with a very short walk to bars, restaurants, and sights. We would 100% stay here again.
