Hotel Ipekyolu

Way better than we expected. We though that was gonna be one of those price-performance hostels but it turned out better. Rooms are clean, staff is helpful, atmosphere is cozy. Breakfast doesn’t have many selective items but fresh and tasty. Location is really convenient for authentic food places and if you ask staff, they direct you to the ones aren’t tourist trap and overprice. Really close to walkboard of Sapanca’s lake by walking distance. There is not really amenities since it’s 2 star hotel but it’s the best choice for adventurers.

3 times I needed to go to loundry and ask for me shirts, because it was not on time and not ironed at all. Terrible service - everyone was smoking cigarettes instead of doing their job.

We didn't stay on the property. We wanted to book 2 rooms and spoke with the staff regarding what they said were their last rooms, but they kept asking us which rooms we wanted. So, this had us confused. Then when we confirmed the rooms (multiple times) it was time to pay and they wanted a direct Turkish bank deposit. So if you plan to stay here you have to put the money directly into their bank account. We live in Turkey and have never had this issue with a hotel anywhere in the country. They also said,at this point, we have 10 minutes to decide because rooms were filling. I DON'T play pressure games and told them that and asked again why we couldn't pay like everywhere else. The deposit was 50% basically and non-refundable sowe have the right to ask any questions regarding our money. They deicded at this point that we couldn't stay with them which we agreed. They are unprofessional and mainly refused to answer questions regarding their payment method. Please avoid dealing with them and wasting your time.
