Hotel Isabel

A very nice hotel—clean, well-equipped, and with a truly comfortable, large bed. The room didn’t have a window, but it wasn’t a big issue. Our hairdryer didn’t work, and there was no replacement available, but it was manageable. The staff was very friendly, though they didn’t speak English. Overall, a pleasant stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The room was extremely clean, and the hotel itself is super cute, cozy, and located in a great area. The beds were comfortable, although there was a layer of plastic on top that was a bit noticeable. I used the gym, but access was a bit inconvenient—I had to ask the security man to unlock it for me. The gym schedule was limited and not communicated at any point during check-in or in the room. The room amenities were lacking. There was only hand soap available—no shampoo or conditioner. In a room meant for two people, only two towels were provided, which felt minimal. Overall, while I enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of the space, and the location is definitely a plus, there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to amenities and guest communication.

The problem there is with the room cleaning supervisor, I had just checked out the room and immediately she reported that we had burned a sheet, being rude and disrespectful, obviously it was a lie because there are no irons in the room, and at no time did I ask reception for one and I didn't have one with me, I told them that was a lie but they still charged me for something she made up to keep the money. I asked her to show me the sheet and she said she couldn't because I was no longer a guest there. In general, everything is fine, but some of the cleaning staff are only looking to get money from tourists.
