Rooms a little old fashioned but very clean. Staff interactions were very friendly. Pool looks great, but didn't get a chance to try it (bad weather).
Overall pretty good. The pool's a bit small, and the sun's gone from it by late afternoon, but otherwise downstairs is good - and the foyer smells yummy! The rooms are clean and a nice size - but the beds! Good grief - who picked those mattresses?! They are absolutely rock hard. And I mean rock hard!
Lamentable service due to acute lack of personnel! Whistling noise from below ground laundry liable to wake you up at unsociable hours! Smokers able to get away with smoking in rooms? Smoke contaminating public areas. Ability to do so not investigated by staff!
