We stayed here for 7 days and it did not disappoint. The hotel is very clean and our room was a great size with a huge balcony which was lovely. The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much. A special thank you to Tanya, Marica and chef Giovanni, you made us feel so welcome at breakfast each morning, you all work so hard and provide a great service. A real credit to the hotel. The pool area is lovely, we found it very relaxing and it was never busy so always plenty of sun loungers. The location was perfect, a 15/20 min walk into the main centre of Sorrento. Around the hotel there are a few bars/ restaurants in walking distance. We had the best coffee from Bar Capriccio which is a 2min walk.
Nice enough hotel, but dear god the noise insulation between rooms is non existent! You can hear literally every single word the person next door to you says. While there is a balcony, you don’t really want to sit on it because the road noise outside is loud (when you close the door you can’t hear much of it inside though). Staff are super lovely and incredibly helpful, and the beds are the comfiest I’ve slept in anywhere in Italy, water pressure great for showers and the breakfast in the morning isn’t half bad. Is about a 20 min walk into Sorrento, and the street doesn’t have footpaths in places, taxis generally available outside the hotel in a taxi rank or the hotel will call one for you. Expect to pay €20 euros each way for a 3 min drive though.
Definitely not a four star hotel, 3 star at best. When we arrived no bathroom towels, hand towels or mat in room. Had to walk 2 floors down as reception wouldn’t answer phone & the lift is so bloody slow. No tea/ coffee facilities in room, no tissues & the a/c kept turning off constantly. Rooms are small & very basic. Breakfast doesn’t open until 7am & you’re competing with other tour groups so gets chaotic & only black coffee on offer. Even with the pool had to walk down to reception as no towels on offer in pool area
