My family and I had a very lovely time here. The staff was incredible. Everyone was there to make our stat as comfortable as possible. We all enjoyed to baths, the views were spectacular. We left feeling rejuvenated! The food was amazing!
Visited for a day pass to the open air onsen. The 250m cable car down to the open air bath was awesome!!! The open air bath is small and there is only one there (male and female separate), but it looks out onto the valley and mountain and was so serene - I sat in there for an hour! It smells a bit funny from the sulfur in the water but the temperature is just right to enjoy a long warm bath. I didn't even try the indoor bath at the main building because I enjoyed the outdoor one so much!
Stayed at Hotel Iyaonsen and had a truly relaxing experience. The onsen facilities were fantastic — soothing hot springs with beautiful natural surroundings that made unwinding effortless. The rooms were comfortable and clean, offering a cozy traditional Japanese vibe. The food was fresh and delicious, highlighting local ingredients with careful preparation.
