Hotel Izvoare Caciulata

I stayed in this hotel from 13th till 15th of October 2024. I was very well impressed by this hotel. Everything is very good, the rooms, the breakfast at a high level, the mineral water pool, the surroundings. Even the price of the hotel is very reasonable. Căciulata is a very good place as a spa resort. So I recommend this hotel and the resort Căciulata

A little bit on the expensive side. If you have the money, everything is top notch, from food to the service. A meal is around 70 RON. The burger is 43 lei, best quality-price. Dessert is all 30 lei. Usually you have breakfast included, which has a great variety, buffet style.

The hotel has a great, central location. Many objectives are within walking distance. The pool with thermal water is amazing and cleaned every day. Bathrobe and pool towels are provided by the hotel (slippers too, but I do recommend to bring your own slippers). The rooms are big (we had an apartment for 4 people). Basics (tea, sugar, coffee) are refilled every day. The bathroom is also very clean and well equipped. What can be improved? The restaurant's policy. I'll give you two examples: 1) The children's menu is rigid and allows no change (french fries are forcefully included and cannot be replaced with a different garnish). You can obviously order other garnishes for the full price. 2) The breakfast coffee is not part of the buffet (this is the first place I see where all dishes are buffet, but the coffee is served by a waiter). This results in a long, unnecessary wait for the coffee. Note: the staff is doing their best and are very polite.
