Hotel Josefshof am Rathaus

We had a great experience! The location of the hotel is excellent, close to all the attractions in the center and public transportation. Yet it is located in a quiet alley. The rooms are cozy and clean. The beds are comfortable and checking in was easy. We wanted to especially mention the wonderful staff who run the reception, the bar, and the dining room. Everything was just a great experience, they were helpful and welcoming and very generous. We would love to return to the hotel again.

We stayed in this hotel in June 2025. We have been here 6 years ago and liked the hotel then and now. The hotel location is perfect - close to the center, quiet, close to the supermarket. Our room (deluxe viennese elegance) was big and comfortable, the shower is gorgeous and the espresso machine and pods are a nice touch. George and the entire team at the reception desk are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you, George.

Good hotel. Pleasant rooms if on the small side. Laundry service is outsourced, same day and outrageously expensive. Excellent comprehensive breakfast buffet with fresh as you do it squeezed orange juice, a prosciutto slicer, nice cheese options. Coffee from the fully automated machine is acceptable. Very pleasant outdoor patio seating with a high level suspended net to keep birds out so it stays nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great location convenient to museums, shops and points of cultural interest. Set back off a side street with bollard-restricted access to keep traffic and noise down. Very nice Greek restaurant just steps away around the block.
