Hotel Juan De La Cosa

The hotel staff was wonderful. We were a camp and even though the kids were a bit naughty, the staff was so patient, comprehensive and accommodating with us. The kitchen staff is awesome, worth the visit just for their lemon mousse, which I can confidently say it's the best in the world. If you go, order it, it's absolutely worthy.

Juan de la Cosa Hotel situated on Berria Beach.....one of the best experiences of our lives!! Such a beautiful location set right on the most amazing beach with fantastic views and 2km of wonderfully clean sand and fabulous ocean! A paradise for relaxing, walking, swimming, surfing and connecting with nature..so good for body and soul!! The Hotel staff are attentive, thoughtful, efficient and friendly....you could not ask for more!!!. The lovely cleaning ladies, the wonderful restaurant and bar staff and the always welcoming reception staff are a credit to the very present hands on owners of this incredible venue. From the beautiful food to the spotlessly clean rooms with breathtaking views this is a jewel in the crown of Cantabria. After a month's stay we didn't want to leave and cannot wait to return! The location is perfect for a beach retreat holiday or as a base to explore the many Northern Spanish Towns, Villages and Beaches within easy reach of the hotel as well as an opportunity to experience the local Fiestas and culture of this delightful area! This is a fabulous hotel in an idyllic location with the best welcome....who could ask for more!!!

The rooms were very good I have nothing to say except the fact that there are not enough sockets in the room. Service was very good every worker there were super nice expect for the cafeteria it was good but they forget a lot like when you ask a sandwich with no salad well they put you salad but expect that very good service. The location of the hotel was excellent it’s two seconds from the beach, but if you want to buy stuff like food you have to have a car cause the nearest store is at 5 min in car. You can also find a lot of good restaurants there also the hotel restaurant is very good like the cafeteria. I highly recommend this hotel.
