We had a wonderful time! The room was very cosy, spacious and clean. Very good attention to detail. It’s a family hotel and the staff was pretty nice. The food - delicious, location - great, visit - amazing.

Disappointing experience. I was so excited for a spa weekend getaway and this place was so highly rated that I felt even more disappointed. The owners/hosts aren’t particularly friendly and we felt like an inconvenience to them (not sure if it was a language thing or what). I booked this specific location because it boasted 9 saunas and 2 pools and had both clothed and non-clothed options (sure, call me prude), but don’t let that fool you. They didn’t turn on any of the saunas or steam rooms in the “Family area” the whole 3 days we were there because “there were no children at the hotel”. Which left the panoramic sauna (naked) and spa on the roof. The spa on the roof wasn’t very warm at all and I didn’t want to use any naked saunas when I specifically booked this hotel for the sole reason that they offered clothing options. So that felt like false advertisement, and no where was it explained that they wouldn’t be offered in the “off-season” or on limited availability. Breakfast was good, but I would have liked a GF option for bread/pastries/cereal (guess I am used to that being an option in Italy). Luckily the room had a bathtub, which I used instead of the spa or sauna. And the room was immaculately cleaned, which was the only other good thing about the stay. Oh, and the location was great, but I would probably stay at another property next time.
