Guest Reviews 4.4 / 5
We stayed for 2 weeks, the rooms are nice and big but abit dated. House keeping never filled up our shampoo or soap but we could have asked but just kept forgetting. The breakfast staff are so lovely and produce a varied buffet. Excellent locations super handy to everything. The reception staff were mostly friendly but there was one member who dressed in a suit and wasn’t overly friendly and I over heard him saying “English” in a disgust tone as we walked past. Highlight was the hotel bikes you can use for free to bike around the town.
Unfortunately, I have to give a bad review because the bathroom smelled like sewer, which made my stay rather unpleasant. Service was excellent though, especially the man at the reception. And the room (aside from the bathroom) itself and amenities were excellent.
Unfortunately I had a really bad experience with this hotel, specifically regarding the late shift reception. The person that should welcome people treated me with discrimination and even asked me if I could afford his “expensive hotel”. Not only used those words against me as also cursed while my husband was trying to park. So much disrespect for a four stars hotel. We chose to stay there because we were very tired after many hours driving and that was the last stop of our honeymoon. The bedsheet was also very dirty (see pictures). And the slipper were reused as they were also dirty and sticky. The good part is the morning staff that was very friendly, specially the receptionist and the breakfast receptionist. All the cleaning staff was also polite. The breakfast was good. The room was very big, with a fridge and a very powerful shower. It’s a pity that they don’t leave the hygiene items in the room, you need to call the reception if you need anything (including pillows). And there is no one in the reception after 11pm. The hotel has potential, but due to my experience with the receptionist man in the evening, I wouldn’t stay there again.
