Booked a room with private hot spring. The room is huge for 2 people! The room comes with THREE skincare products, lovely. Dinner experience is unforgettable, there’s dancing performance and friendly staff would play traditional Japanese games with you. Dinner set plating is beautiful and food is tasty. Breakfast is also amazing, beautifully curated. Overall, it’s a very nice hotel and just around 10 mins walk from the train station and main street is just around the corner. In the room’s shower area, it may not be as clean as expected, but the room itself is very clean.
We went here for 1 night and it was amazing. First of all the rooms were very nice, we asked for a traditional Japanese room with a private warm natural bath. We got yukata’s which was a nice extra and the skincare with the shaving machine. I slept really good and the view was awesome! You woke up and put the curtains up and you had an astonishing view. The moment you walked in the hotel the staff were very friendly and nice always bowing and greeting you. Not only was the staff friendly we also had a good laugh with them about my dad’s yukata. My family had a massage which was very good and relaxing The food was also good and traditional which for us Belgians was a new experience but very good and fun. Our server An was very friendly and nice. She was new there and gave us a warm welcome! An you did amazing! We even asked for a photo with her. Not only An but the other staff were amazing. Then before you we checked out we went to the shop which had some cool things. There was also a warm foot bath which felt really nice. Overall it was a very good and enjoyable experience and we definitely recommend it!!
It's an interesting hotel....great service and wonderful staff in the noodle bar especially. In fairness, there are lots of facilities and the onsen is great. Unfortunately the hotel needs to (at least) be painted as the hallway and corridor is showing clear signs of age. I think the 10am check out time is a little harsh. Not a bad hotel and I had a comfortable stay but it has passed it's prime.
