Hotel Kalura

Couldn't recommend more highly. Absolute highlight of time in Sicily. Stunning hotel with great service, sea view room was incredible. Private beach was fantastic, pool was lovely. Massage service excellent. Restaurant had wonderful service and delicious food. Will be back!

A lovely place to stay if visiting Cefalu!! Room was a delight and the in room jacuzzi very handy! Views from the terrace are scenic and having the private beach is a real treat! Just get in early to get the best lounger spot. The beach views are stunning and all the staff are helpful within the hotel, from the bar, beach and restaurant. Breakfasts are good, location means you will have to take a taxi or drive to town but it’s only 10minutes or so. Thanks for also providing a yoga mat! Recommended!

Views from rooms and dining patio were fantastic. Private beach with bar was very nice. Staff was generally friendly and polite. Rooms were dated and somewhat worn. Breakfast had a lovely espresso bar and assortment of pastries but savory options were sub-par and there was no fresh juice (only from a machine). Dinner-wise, the food was good but not exceptional. For both breakfast and dinner we were largely unable to enjoy eating outside because of swarms of bees (which other reviews also mention). There were at times a dozen swarming angerly around us and on our plates eating our food. One stung my mother in law. Overall we enjoyed our stay but certainly not perfect.
