This place was incredible! The baths were hot and very therapeutic. It was a superior experience for my family. The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. They shared so much with us about the town. It was truly special. Plus, the food was so delicious, breakfast and dinner! One of the best stays I have had in Japan.
Old, but very comfortable place not far from Naruko Onsen. Very soothing baths, including an outdoor one that feels incredibly fresh in the cool spring air! Rooms are quaint and comfortable. I had one on the smoking floor, and there was virtually no tobacco smell at all. Only gripe is that they do not have AC, but the mountain air keeps the rooms relatively chill with open windows. The staff are amazing, they really go above and beyond with ensuring that their guests have a good experience. Abe in particular had very good English and helped me set up a lot of my visit to Naruko! Big props to him, and the entire team.
The staff were very nice.. the food was great. The room is pretty old but it still looks good.
