Hotel Kanazawa

This is the kind of fancy event-hosting hotels we don't normally stay at because I'm cheap, but we got a fantastic deal and I'm glad we stayed. The location is perfect -- right next to the train station and bus rotary, with easy access to several malls and eateries. No coin laundry, but there are two within easy walking distance. The rooms are big for Japan, especially the bathroom. There's a full-sized tub that we could stretch out in while soaking, or we could both shower at once without difficulty. There was a little booth seat and table in addition to the desk so that both of us had a place to park our laptops. The bed was only a semi-double but we found the firmness and pillows to be a welcome improvement compared to past business hotels. The only downside I can think of is that the fridge is weak. We're in the habit of ignoring the fresh towels left at our door every day because it's wasteful, and rather than pointlessly continue leaving them, the housekeeper confirmed that we didn't want them. Nice service!

Excellent location next to the railwaystation and hub for all the local busses. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast does the job. This was my second stay at this hotel and if I'm lucky enough to get back to Kanazawa I'll stay there again.

Location was great it is almost attached to the train station. It was a great value with low prices and medium sized rooms. It was perfect after a long train ride. Would go again.
