Hotel Kanzler

My stay at this hotel had its highlights, with spacious suites that offered comfortable bedding and a prime location in the heart of Batumi, making it easy to explore the city's vibrant attractions, beaches, and nightlife without much hassle. The overall vibe was relaxing, and the views from the windows added a nice touch to the experience, especially during sunset. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that the suites didn't come equipped with basic amenities like shampoo and towels, which meant an extra trip to the front desk or nearby stores something that could easily be improved for future guests to enhance convenience. Additionally, the suites felt a tad dirty upon arrival, with noticeable dust in corners and some spots on the linens that could use more thorough cleaning; a quick refresh would go a long way in elevating the standards. That said, the staff were responsive when I mentioned these issues, and the affordable rates combined with the great proximity to everything make it a worthwhile option for budget conscious travelers just pack your own toiletries and perhaps request a deep clean in advance for a smoother stay!

We booked a room advertised as having a Sea View + Lake View + Mountain View... what we got instead was a full surround construction site. Nonstop noise, cranes, concrete walls, and not a single view worth the name. Check the photos. Upon arrival, we were told to check in on the 15th floor of Block A to receive our room card, only to be redirected with all our luggage to the official reception in Block C, where we encountered a "system issue." The whole check-in process took over 40 minutes, just to reach our room after coming from the office. Room 564 is located at the corner of the building - completely surrounded by construction. Service is absolutely terrible: no one responded to messages, and no cleaning service showed up during our entire stay. Not even once. The TV is painfully slow - not even capable of streaming YouTube properly, reacts 10 sec to a volume change. Also the room was not cleaned, plastic bottles from previous guests were waiting for us. This was a waste of money, time, and nerves. We expected a relaxing stay with a nice view. What we got was stress, noise, and zero customer care

I booked a room 2 weeks before check-in (deluxe with 2 bedrooms and sea view). I arrived and was asked to go to apartment 3719 (block C). There were 2 guys with important faces sitting there, twirling their mobile phones in their hands "like a thug". I speak Georgian fluently. They told me that my booking did not exist and that I could not check in. I showed them the booking confirmation from Booking.com - while they were scratching their heads and sorting out this booking, my son (autistic) started to get nervous, because we waited for a long time, started to hit me, AND THESE GREAT MALE GEORGIANS STARTED TO LAUGH AT THE DISABLED PERSON, THEY FOUND IT FUNNY THAT THE CHILD WAS YELLING AND HITTING HIS MOTHER. In the end, they tell me that the booking price is low, I need to pay an extra 200 GEL and they will be able to accommodate me - I agreed. What I got: a 1-bedroom apartment (instead of 2, as I booked), dirty towels, dirty floor, broken equipment in the bathroom, no washing machine, no microwave. I immediately decided to find another place to stay, I found one, and these cool guys kept me 100 GEL for going into the room, sitting there, calming the child down and leaving. I curse these people, this Orbi. They just ruined my entire vacation. For terrible apartments
