Hotel Karia Princess

We stayed at Karia Princess for just one night as a little treat for my boyfriend’s birthday. Although we have a place just over an hour away, we wanted a base in Bodrum to explore more easily — and we’re so glad we chose this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist (a lovely lady who spoke excellent English) was incredibly helpful. She warmly welcomed us, gave us a little tour, showed us to our room, and even helped us arrange a same-day hospital appointment for our baby, just to ease our concerns. Thankfully, everything was fine — but her support and kindness made such a difference to our trip. We believe the owner was also present, celebrating his son’s birthday with friends and family. Everyone we encountered was polite, warm, and made us feel so welcome. They even checked in on us throughout the evening, which added a personal and thoughtful touch. The pool area was peaceful and lovely. We had some nibbles by the water and aside from the children at the birthday party, we basically had the space to ourselves. It was quiet, clean, and ideal for relaxing — our baby was perfectly content too. One small downside was figuring out where to go when we wanted to order food or drinks. There wasn’t a clear bar or service point, and staff weren’t obviously present poolside. We did ask people who walked by, and they were happy to help — but we likely would’ve ordered more (or tried a cocktail!) if we’d known where to go. Another small issue was with the plug sockets in our room — only two seemed to work, and they were on the far side of the room. I initially thought my charger was broken, but it turned out the sockets simply weren’t working. Because of this, I couldn’t use the bedside lamp either, which was a bit of a shame. Just something that could use a quick fix. Despite those little things, we had a genuinely lovely stay. The value was excellent — around £100 for the night including breakfast. My boyfriend really enjoyed the breakfast, though as someone a bit fussier with food, I would’ve loved a few more options (especially eggs!). But with fewer guests around, we understood why the selection was limited. The overall menu is quite small, but what we had was nice. We ordered the chicken Caesar salad twice — the first time was amazing, the second time not quite the same, which was a bit disappointing. Some consistency in the kitchen would definitely help. After checking out the next day, we asked if we could stay around the pool and have some lunch, and they were more than happy for us to do so. We even considered booking another night because it was such a peaceful, relaxing stay. All in all, Karia Princess left a really good impression. The staff were kind, the setting was peaceful, and it just had a lovely, warm atmosphere. If we’re in Bodrum again next year, we’ll absolutely be booking this hotel again. Great location near of everything around 10 minutes walking. Actually the hotel is old but clean and cozy, The staff were friendly the reception and restaurant staff all of them. Thanks to Abdullah he was very helpful and caring about any concerns.

Hotel is very old. rooms and bathroom are weird, we couldn’t sleep well nightmare every day we afraid seems like there is ghost.. don’t come nothing worth save your money
