Our stay at Hotel Keihan Universal was amazing. The location is perfect—right at the entrance of Universal Studios Japan and just steps away from the City Walk with many great restaurants and shops. The rooms were spotless, with high-quality amenities and comfortable robes. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. Even though we don’t speak Japanese, language was never a barrier, as most staff spoke or understood English well. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Universal Studios. We would definitely stay here again!

Had such a lovely time here, would love to return! The rooms are big and you can get rooms that give each person a bed. We stayed in the Japanese-style rooms. It had a modern and simple interior, and the furniture was all really cute. I would recommend picking a room with a view of the park. You can still sea a bit of the ocean, but you can also get a clear view of the park. It’s really entertaining to see people screaming in the Hollywood Dream :) The service is really good. For example, we requested for a change of slippers just the second night, but the staff also gave us new slippers every night from then on. Quite sweet of them! The rooms are also quite clean, and there’s a bathtub in the bathroom. The room also provides a fridge, hair dryer, curling iron and shoe dryer. Great if you’re out on a rainy day or your shoes got Wei in a ride. Do note they do not provide bottled water, you have to get water from the vending machine near the lift. The tap water is drinkable though. The breakfast buffet is mediocre and the dinner buffet is also quite pricey. However, there are countless shops downstairs that sell great food, including McDonalds and Starbucks, so it’s super convenient. There’s also a Lawsons and 7-11. Super near to the park, so great if you’re rushing in first thing in the morning. Definitely would recommend this hotel!

Amazing location! Directly between the train station and entrance to Universal. Rooms were clean and spacious with amazing views. Reception was a bit awkward not being located on ground floor and elevators were overwhelmed at "rush hour" but the staff was great in helping.
