Hotel Kilkenny

Simple OUTSTANDING! Only spent an overnight there for a business trip, but the time I spent there was simply perfect. The room is very comfortable with incredibly soft beds. The bathroom was neat and clean and very luxurious. The breakfast was the highlight. Well made and delicious!

The rooms are great, exactly what you’d expect. The service is some of the best I’ve experienced. I was there for business, so using the conference rooms for delivering training. Mary are her team were super, so on point. Not at any point was I left wanting - thank you!

Excellent location. However, the room felt outdated, I paid for a deluxe room and was very disappointed. The carpet and bedding had stains. There was no information provided about check-out times, leisure centre hours, or whether towels were available in the leisure centre. When we paid for swim hats, we were charged €11 for two, even though the sign said €3.50 each. We raised this issue the next day; the staff tried to resolve it, but ultimately nothing could be done. Service at dinner was just okay. We received our food order, but no one came back to take drink orders after we had to ask for a drinks menu. The food itself wasn’t bad, but it felt overpriced for the quality. Some staff members were lovely, while others seemed indifferent. The shower temperature was unstable, flickering from hot to cold without adjusting the controls. The bed was comfortable, but uneven.
