Thank you to the staff who worked hard during a recent 70th Birthday party. Food was served on time, service was polite and prompt and everyone enjoyed it. Special thanks to Grace and Sophie who worked hard to keep a few surprises from the Birthday girl. Would recommend for any events.
Hotel Kilmore is definitely going to be my go to hotel any time I’m near Cavan. The staff are all so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, the rooms are ample, clean and well maintained. The food is excellent. The location is very convenient. The atmosphere and decor add to the welcoming vibe from the moment you arrive. I’m already looking forward to returning for my next visit.
Poor service, including snippy service staff when alerted to long wait periods, very rushed service initially, then waited 35 minutes after being given dessert menu before service staff attended again. Had to leave as time waiting was too long. Food mediocre at best, small portion size for price paid. Previously, service and food quality were always very good, steady decline in both over the past year or so. Will not be rushing back.
