Hotel Kirchenwirt

Highly recommend this wonderfully located family-owned hotel close to the Kaunertal Gletscher. Simone and Martin are demonstrating hospitality as it’s best, super friendly, very helpful and caring - and that also counts for their entire staff. The hotel rooms are cozy but modern with a local touch, beautiful views from the balcony (the Zirben rooms are stunning) and both breakfast and dinner was fantastic, with lots to choose from and plenty of veggie options, too. We stayed a week with two of our kids (both early twenties) and had a great time - definitely planning to come back!

One of the best places to stay in Tirol) rooms are very clean and cozy, with great views, perfect bathrooms, an amazing kitchen, the best Austrian wine, and schnitzel. The owner himself plays music in the restaurant in the evening. The staff is the best, very kind and very responsive. Top service. Highly recommended!!

Good rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Food is tasty and well cooked and nicely presented. The ski bus stops right outside. When my wife became ill they called a doctor for her and offered to pick us up from the hospital if she had to go with the ambulance that came. Recommended definitely.
