Hotel Klinglhuber

I spent four very comfortable nights in this well-designed hotel this week. My room was attractive and bright, overlooking the small square in front of the hotel, but quiet at all times. The breakfast buffet offered an excellent choice of hot and cold food and drinks, and the breakfast room was luminous and well arranged. The staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful, and they all spoke very good English. The hotel has a large sauna and rest area, free to guests. I enjoyed relaxing there, but I think it is a pity that it can only be booked by individual guests, on request. It is big enough for 8-10 people at a time. It would be more convivial if guests could mix there with each other, rather than enjoying it alone each time. Of course, the management could set an upper limit on the number of sauna users. Otherwise, it seems like an under-used resource. My only other suggestion is to put blackout curtains in the bedrooms. On sunny mornings, I was woken up by the light penetrating the existing curtains.

We spent the night in a spacious clean suite. Breakfast was plentiful. I was surprised to find out that the use of one teabag in the room was 1.2 Euro, and 1.5 Euro for one nespresso pod. Surprisingly they do not charge anything for the sugar!!!

Very spacious, modern rooms. Public spaces spacious, comfortable, modern. Very friendly helpful staff. Our room didn't have aircon just a fan, which made it very hot in a hot June. Very few sockets in rooms. Aircon a shame, as it could be a very good hotel. I wouldn't come again if it was going to be hot weather.
