Hotel Kompas

This hotel is in a PERFECT location. Tons of restaurants in walking distance along the beautiful path. You could stay here for a month and not run out of options. Room was very clean with great service. This hotel really feels like you are staying at a resort with everything you need. Pool was great but need to go early for loungers. Beach was awesome with day beds provided. Beach is all rocks so it’s a little tough to go in and out of water without water shoes. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Dubrovnik with only a 10€ uber to Old town for day trips. Very satisfied with my stay overall.

Visited 1st June for one week with family. Gorgeous hotel, very clean and great views. Ideally located across from the beach and all the bars and restaurants a few minutes away. Sun loungers are always available at the pool. Staff were all lovely and hospitable. Beds were comfortable, good air con in the rooms. Would recommend staying in Lapad if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere; the Old Town is great to visit but very busy!

What an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived at Hotel Kompas it felt like we were stepping into something special. The views of the sea are absolutely stunning, and the location is perfect for exploring everything Dubrovnik has to offer. There’s an amazing coastal walk right by the hotel, which takes you along beautiful scenery and leads you straight to the beach – so convenient! Plus, it’s just a short distance to the Old Town, making it easy to pop in whenever you want to experience the historic charm of Dubrovnik. But what really made this place shine was the staff. So warm and friendly, they truly made us feel like we were at home. Jonny at Reception went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, and David at the pool bar was an absolute gem – always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed while lounging by the pool. Honestly, there’s nothing bad to say about this hotel. From the views to the service, the food, the spa, and the location, it truly has everything.
