Hotel Komune and Beach Club Bali

We loved our family stay at Hotel Komune in Keramas. We stayed in a family room, which is actually two interconnecting rooms — a perfect setup for giving us space from the kids but still being close by. The rooms are surrounded by beautiful gardens and just a short stroll to the kids’ play area. The kids’ area is super impressive. Our children loved visiting the chickens and borrowing scooters to zoom around the skate bowl. There’s also a flying fox and heaps of play equipment to keep them entertained. Every single staff member we met was friendly, kind and helpful. The service around the pool was next level — the staff even remembered my coffee order each morning! The pool area itself is incredible, with plenty of shade umbrellas and comfy daybeds. The kids could swim or run around doing cartwheels on the lawn. It’s such a kid-friendly space. One of the highlights is that the resort sits right in front of the Keramas surf break. My husband had a ball surfing there during our stay. The food was consistently delicious with great options for kids too. While food and drinks are definitely more expensive than other places in Bali, the quality made it well worth it. Plus, they show a movie on the lawn every night for the kids, which was such a nice way to wind down after busy days. Overall, Hotel Komune is incredibly family-friendly, and we can’t wait to come back again.

Hotel Komune was AMAZING! I was just there for a yoga retreat. Worth every bit of what we paid. Delicious food and drinks menus, with something for everyone. Incredible yoga/pilates and workout locations with views for days. Beautiful pools and scenery. A self-contained sanctuary. But the staff are second to none - so generous, so helpful - for example, they went out of their way to help us get to the airport on time when the external transport we booked fell through. They didn’t need to go above and beyond but they did, and that kindness will always be remembered. I cannot wait to go back with my family so my son can try the Free Range Kids Club! Beautiful experience!!

We recently had the most amazing stay at Komune Beach Resort, Keramas. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we felt completely relaxed and at ease. The atmosphere is serene, welcoming, and truly special. The staff were incredible – Desak, Tari and every single person we met was warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality really made our stay unforgettable. We were lucky enough to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary during our time at Komune, and the resort went above and beyond to make it magical. They organised a beautiful private dinner for us with amazing food, stunning floral arrangements, and thoughtful signage for our family. A special shoutout to Agus and his band, who serenaded us and made the evening so memorable – it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our kids also had a blast! Our 4-year-old loved the kids club, and there were plenty of fun activities to keep our 10 and 8-year-olds happy and entertained. It’s the perfect resort for families looking for both relaxation and adventure. We highly recommend Komune to anyone looking for a beautiful beachside escape – whether you’re celebrating something special or just want to unwind. We will definitely be back.
