This is a solid 4! The location is magnificent. Honestly, it’s better than the photos, and it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed at. Don’t hesitate, pay a little extra for a room with a view — it’s 1000% worth it. The rooms are clean, the interior is pleasant and nice-looking although you can tell the carpets have seen some stuff 😅 Also a shower that’s just a glass cube is very stylish (I guess?), but the positioning inside makes it impossible for you to not wet your feet every time you use the bathroom. Minor inconvenience, but you better pack extra pairs of socks. Also, there is no tea, coffee, or kettle in rooms, which was a huge surprise. I’ve never seen a hotel room not having a kettle, so I didn’t even bother checking this on the website beforehand. Once again, a minor inconvenience, but quite frustrating — you have to go to the restaurant and buy tea and then bring the hot cups to your room. The staff was friendly and welcoming, although no one except for the receptionist seems to speak English, which can be confusing at the restaurant. Other than that, everyone was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. The buffet breakfast was nice, there aren’t many options, but they’re enough to find something for different diets and tastes. We stayed for three days, and every day there were some changes in the buffet options, which is rare and very nice to see. The spa area is extremely small is not really something you imagine when thinking about a relaxing evening at spa. I guess it’s suited for those who are tired after a long hike/skiing day and just need a quick recharge before dinner. Which is totally fine and is still more than most hotels can offer :) In general, it was a pleasant experience, and I hope we have a chance to come back to this place one day!
A nice place but two issues. First the walls are paper things so we could hear our Polish neighbour's blasting music until 3am. Sadly this was not dealt with by reception - where we have had issues with noisy guests in other hotels they were asked to leave the next day. I think it might be that we are foreign so less of a priority? Second issue is the half board dinner option - you only get one choice of dish each night and the staff were not helpful in adjusting for allergies. More flexibility would be appreciated, as would having at least one member of staff in the restaurant who can speak either English, French or German.
It was room at last level near ventilation and it was vibrating all the time everything walls windows etc Good point is restaurant - really tasty
