The hotel itself and the rooms are very tidy and clean and the interior of the hotel is nice and modern. The wellness department and the food and drinks section is excellent too! Very friendly staff as well.

This hotel truly took our breath away. This place is heaven, and for dog owners, it's a paradise. We arrived with some skepticism due to recent reviews we had read on Google, but all our doubts were dispelled. Our stay at this hotel was an amazing experience from start to finish, and we wouldn't change a thing. We only regretted that we stayed for just one day, but we will definitely return for a longer visit in the future. Starting with the fact that this place is great for dogs. Dogs are warmly welcomed, pampered, and spoiled here. They can go practically anywhere with you, except for the spa area. In the room, we were greeted with bowls and treats for our dog, a blanket, waste bags—everything was just perfect. The surroundings of the hotel are a magnificent park and forest, where you can wander endlessly with your dog and enjoy the beautiful nature. There’s even a lovely stream running by the hotel that your dog will surely appreciate. The hotel even offers dog-sitting services if needed, which we had never seen before. But it's also perfect for people. Everyone here is incredibly kind and friendly, always ready to help or offer advice. The check-in process was probably the fastest I've ever experienced—within 20 seconds, we were checked in and heading to our room. The room was also fantastic: very spacious, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the park. The balcony was also quite large, with chairs and a table. Ideal for smokers. Our room had comfortable beds with comfy mattresses. There was even a sort of pseudo air conditioning, which worked well for us, and even in the middle of a hot day, the room was quite pleasant. The bathroom was also very spacious, with a large walk-in shower. The toilet was separate from the bathroom, another plus. The room also had a minibar with some basic non-alcoholic drinks and beer, and it was handy for storing and chilling our own beverages. The blackout curtains were sufficient, and the soundproofing of the room was excellent. We were not disturbed by any noise from the hotel hallway or outside, either during the night or in the morning. The hotel pool is fairly large, and during our stay, even though it was high season and a Friday, there was almost no one there. And I haven't even mentioned their restaurant yet. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which is served buffet-style, all-you-can-eat. And the buffet was simply amazing. There was a wide selection of salads, several main courses, various sides, cheeses, and desserts—the choices were extensive. What’s important is that every dish was of very high quality and delicious. We enjoyed our meal tremendously, and it was an indulgence well worth the money. Our waiter, who also doubled as the bartender, pampered us too. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and even funny. He took great care of us, mixing excellent drinks. Thanks to him, we felt like royalty. I regret not asking for his name. The next day, we also had breakfast at the restaurant, again buffet-style, and it was wonderful. Once again, a very wide selection, with everything we like. In conclusion, our stay at Hotel Krainerhütte was an amazing experience. This is exactly how we imagine a hotel should care for and pamper its guests. This hotel can proudly boast its four stars from Hotelstars Union, as it fully deserves them. We can definitely recommend this hotel, whether for a short stopover or a longer stay. And as I mentioned earlier, we will definitely return here in the future. There was nothing wrong with our stay. The only issue might be that they pampered us so much that now we’ll expect the same standard from other hotels, which might be a bit of a problem. :-)

Terrible experience. I booked their premium room through Booking, but when I arrived due to their internal mistake they gave me a totally different room. Not only it was wrong, but it was also extremely dirty and the “balcony” hadn’t been cleaned in ages and was full of dust, spider webs and so on. A 4 star hotel shouldn’t even have rooms like this on the property! The hall was full of children running around screaming. They were not able to relocate me to another room. I involved the assistance of Booking, asked for a full refund and left. This is no way of managing a 4 star hotel.
