We spent 3 nights at the historic Hotel Krasicki in Lidzbark Warmiński. The hotel is a beautiful building in a very picturesque town steeped in history. Our stay happened to coincide with a Masked Ball event which we didn’t attend but did enjoy the music whilst watching from our windows 😊. The rooms were lovely and clean with all the necessary amenities included - fridge, kettle, tea/coffee, bottles of water, use of dressing gowns and fluffy white towels. The en-suite bathrooms had a lovely walk-in shower with hair and body wash provided. Breakfast was buffet style with meats, cheeses, breads, cereals and fruits as well cooked items (eggs, sausages, pancakes etc). On two occasions we ordered room service and the meals were fresh, plentiful and tasty. Evening meals in the restaurant did not disappoint either. I can thoroughly recommend the traditional Polish dumplings and the salmon in butter sauce. They also do a buffet style dinner. I treated myself to a hot-stones massage at the hotel spa - a wonderfully relaxing experience. Both meals and spa treatments cost a fraction of the amount you would pay in the UK. The local area was beautiful - there is a large woodland nature reserve on the door step with lovely walks and river trails. The town museum is accessed through the hotel courtyard and provides an insight into the history of the hotel and local area. The town itself was close by with small local shops and good transport links to larger towns near by.
Room rather small, very clean, 2 separate beds, view toward the courtyard, service great , NO A/C. Close to Museum, great SPA, food, NO free parking .
The castle was beautiful, the rooms were nice and clean however the service wasn’t what I am use to. The place had a massive private venue and the staff prioritised their guest to the point we wanted to get some champagne glasses and were told they won’t give us any ( bear in mind they were just polishing about 100 glasses) The staff also could be more friendly
