Hotel Krone

Lovely hotel in the center of Mondsee. Breakfast buffet is very generous and great. Dinner was also great with friendly and prompt service.

Everything was perfect. The location, the facilities, the clean, spacious, comfortable room, the kind and hospitable staff, the dinner in the restaurant, the breakfast taste and variety. The definition of hospitality. Highly recommend!

Have just completed a 4 night stay at Hotel Krone, it's exactly what you'd expect for a nice hotel in the middle of a town. We really enjoyed our stay with staff being friendly and approachable. A small minor incident with a member of the wait staff during a meal on our last day however was handled quickly and efficiently with no real lasting issues and can hopefully be put down to a translation issue. The hotel itself is traditional and our room was small but cosy, the view out of our window was stunning, strangely no tea or coffee facilities in the room which wasn't noticed till the last day so wasn't a problem. The temperature inside the hotel and our room was well maintained despite there being vast weather changes during our stay. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, I liked ordering fried eggs to my table each morning and they were cooked to perfection with each request. Would I come back to Mondsee and Hotel Krone? Absolutely, and I would probably bring family who I know would also love the town and this hotel.
