Hotel Kronenschlösschen

Stayed for 1 night to visit the Rhine. Hotel is charming but with modern (if small) rooms. The guesthouse accommodations include a fan to combat summertime heat. While a little cramped, the bed was fine and the bathroom all updated and clear, with a rain-style shower. There's not much in the village but Eltville is only 4KM away and is nice to wander through. Across the road is a wine bar and cafe overlooking the Rhine - that location alone makes this a very good hotel. Also, the service is excellent.

I have enjoyed my stay for sure. Rooms at Guesthouse have airco, rooms in main building don’t. Young man at reception welcomed us very pleasantly and immediately offered to help with our luggage. Breakfast is good and stuff brought some water and snacks for my dog every morning. Especially recommended is Bistro restaurant at the hotel.

This is a very charming hotel, we stayed here for 1 night in May 2025. The suite is on the 3rd floor with seating area and marbled bathroom. We love the small touches such as fruits in the room as well as sherry. The wonderful young man helped to carry our luggage to the room, as there's no elevator. Note that there's no AC as well although we didn't need it. Location is perfect to explore the Rheingau. The food at the restaurant is amazing as well.
