Nice hotel in Yelagiri. With an old home like look. Swimming pool in the centre of the property. The rooms are a little more narrow and rectangular, but otherwise fine ..service is good Ground + 1 floor property. No lift. Good restaurant with food choices
Stayed here with family, and definitely lot of flaws in this hotel. They treat people differently if you book the counter in their counter and if you book through apps. We got one of the worst possible rooms in the entire hotel. No HOT WATER. if you are travelling with family, think over it. With the weather conditions, hot water is must and the front office is latest bothered. Cleanliness is something, we need to teach staffs here. They don't clean the corridors in the hotel for days, so much dirt in front door. I could see chicken bones, waste food, and no one just bothers. We booked deluxe room which could be some low class rooms in some other hotel. No class, horrible interiors, no class in the room. Only good thing is the restaurant, food is good and reasonable. Bottomline - stay some where else and come here only to eat.
TL, DR version: PATHETIC SERVICE, WORST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED IN A LONG TIME. DO NOT STAY IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND. 1. Shabby rooms, poorly maintained 2. Pathetic service… a simple tea order takes about an hour, for lunch if you order anything other than the thali, they take more than 30 mins, and on top of that, they served our food to other tables, they ate it as they have ordered the same, but after 30 mins from when we ordered it. I AM WAITING FOR MY FOOD FOR THE LAST 1 HOUR 30 MINUTES NOW. 3. They would not stop playing loud music till the dead of the night, drunkards shouting on top of their voice till the midnight 4. Last but not the least, they would consider kids of 5+ years of age as adults, even if they stay in the same room with you. When we asked them if we are paying adult prices for them, we might as well get separate rooms, they just said this is the rule. Update: I DID NOT GET MY FOOD AT ALL, THEY SAID THAT THEY HAVE SERVED IT TO ANOTHER TABLE, cannot do anything about it now.
