As a regular traveller to Canberra, I’ve often stayed at another well-known hotel. But after my recent stay at Kurrajong, that’s changed. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The service is warm and professional. The heritage charm gives it a unique feel without compromising on comfort. What stood out most was the atmosphere — quiet, refined, and genuinely welcoming. From now on, Kurrajong will be my go-to every time I’m in town. Highly recommend.
Beautiful rooms and great location. We are extremely disappointed with the service. On arrival the man didn’t know if our room had been cleaned (at 6:30pm) and told us to come back to reception if it wasn’t clean! We had to clean the table of glasses to be able to sit somewhere as the wait staff didn’t do it. To top it off we were charged for things we did not purchase. After an email and 2 phone calls where we were told the money would be refunded we are still waiting.
I had a pleasant experience. The room was well appointed and plush and generously sized. The decor is aged but tastefully so throughout, and the staff are kind and professional. The toilet made a very mild trickling sound overnight which was irritating, but acceptable.
