Hotel Kuusamo Portti is een bezoek meer dan waard. Het eten is geweldig, de gastvrijheid evenzeer. Het meer en de bossen zijn rustgevend en uitstekend voor kijken van vogels. We zagen auerhoenen op het ijs in de late avond en vroege ochtend in mei.
