Hotel La Croix

We spend 11 nights in this hotel and we were completely happy about that. The service was excellent and our room was always cleaned up. The last day we wanted to take a shower before our flight back, although we checked out before. John helped us and found a perfect solution. John is awesome and definitely unterstands the meaning of perfect service. I can definitely recommend this hotel!!!

Hotel La Croix gets a 5/5 star for Vince alone - he truly is the embodiment of true customer service and you can tell he genuinely loves making guests happy. He was so kind, so personable, so accommodating. Just truly the best person that you want when you’re staying at a hotel. I’m not sure how much Vince makes but he definitely deserves a raise.

Avoid Hotel La Croix. Check-In Experience: Upon arrival, we were told our room wasn’t ready, even though it was already check-in time. After some back and forth, they eventually accommodated us. Unfortunately, one staff member, Kansas, was especially rude and dismissive. We also noticed that while he was warm and helpful with white guests, he was noticeably less friendly toward us and other guests of color, which was deeply upsetting. Hidden Fees: We were charged a daily “resort fee” that was not disclosed on the hotel website or through our third-party booking platform. This unexpected charge felt sneaky and dishonest, especially since this hotel does not offer a resort-level experience. Room Conditions: The room was a disappointment. Stained sheets and walls that appeared to have painted-over mold Outdated furniture and an overall lack of cleanliness No in-room phone, we had to use our personal phones to text for help AC didn’t cool the room properly, making it hard to sleep for several nights Bathroom shower was clogged and would overflow Final Thoughts: This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. Poor service, deceptive fees, and uncomfortable conditions made this a regrettable experience. Please look elsewhere and save yourself the stress.
