Yes breakfast was excellent, but we were so tired after 2 nights of rubbish sleep, that my husband had no appetite for it. Do not take the downstairs rooms. You hear everything upstairs, and people going up and down the stairs and everyone laughing etc in the dining room, as the doors and room have no sound proofing. Staff knew that we were staying 2 nights but still gave us the room with all the noise problems. We asked to change rooms but they said the only other spare room was the other one right off the dining room. Even noisier and no windows. Noise both nights from holiday groups till 12 PM t hen 6:30 am as they got up to catch the train. Worst nights sleep in 9 months of travel. Stitched up good and proper.
The beds had bed bugs and I got bitten First they change us to another room and also with bed bugs, then they send us to another hotel , which was very nice and clean We were supposed to stay 5 nights but ended staying 3 nights after this very bad experience My hands and back full of bed bugs bites Haven’t received credit for the 2 nights and ended disputing it with my credit card
