Hotel La Gardenia & Villa Oleandra

We had a perfect stay here (7 nights) with our two little children (0 & 3 years old). Very friendly service, large room, incredible view from balcony, delicious meals and located closely to Limone. Although there weren’t many children, everyone was extremely friendly with ours. Would certainly recommend!

Great little hotel with wonderful views of Lake Garda from the terrace and most rooms. Excellent service from Franco, Lorenzo and all the team.

My experience started off with service calling me what time will I arrive and that I will arrive way past the opening hours and that nobody will wait for me. My airport experience was lengthy because I was waiting for a long time for transport to car rental, then they took extra time by changing the car. I rushed to the hotel right after and I was pretty stressed out. I was shouted at that "I know it's not your fault but nobody will be there to check you in this late". I tried to be as polite as I could and stated my exact arrival according to Google Maps, someone was actually waiting for us although it wasn't a pleasant ride. About the hotel itself, it has very nice views, service (apart from the initial contact) was polite, stay was quite pleasant. The family running the hotel is very kind, really nice people with true Italian spirit. Breakfast was always the same. It was decent quality and tasty, but even after day 2 it was really boring that everything is exactly the same. There were almost no vegetables at all. Coffee was super good though. Dinner was a rollercoaster. It was either okay, or totally bland with almost no spices at all. Hard to say, the level of inconsistency here was massive. A surprise for me was that we had to pay for water during the dinner. Overall I rate it 3.7-3.8/5, I don't think I would visit it again, I'd rather try something else hoping for improvements.
