My husband and I spent a fantastic week in this hotel. It is clean and located perfectly - easy to get to all the main attractions. What we liked the most about the hotel that we felt like home. It was very cosy and the staff pays a lot of attention to details, which makes you feel special. Special thanks to Enrico, who was the first to greet us and was very attentive and professional. We will definitely be back!
This was my favourite hotel on our recent trip to Italy. I arrived quite sick and had to see a doctor. Twenty minutes later the doctor was at the hotel. And, that was the high standard of service, from all staff, for the entirety of our stay. The room was lovely, with a welcome bottle of champagne and a bowl of fruit a few days later. The breakfast was fantastic, as was room service. Special thanks to the manager who inquired several times about my health, the staff on reception who went out of their way to help, and the bar staff, who made our unexpected hotel meals a delight. This is the place to stay if you are in Florence.
If you’re wanting the perfect trip to Florence, book La Gemma. Such a treat - it’s most definitely not an “Instagram trap”. Yes aesthetically it’s perfection but it doesn’t stop there. Staff are so attentive, food + drinks are incredible (the breakfast !!!!! WOW) and the rooms are 5- star luxury. Oh, and don’t miss the spa!
