The hotel is perfectly located in Ascona facing lake. The proximity of the restaurants, the stop of the boat , the playing ground made our short vacation very special and enjoyable. On top, the hotel has a nice spa area with swimming pool, sauna, massage table, fitness room. We enjoyed all of it and will come again!

Short walk from B1 bus stop. Excellent location right on Lake Maggiore near restos and shops. Loved that my room was ready when I arrived. Online check in pays off. My room had a tiny balcony overlooking the lake with a comfy bed and bath. And each morning I had the indoor heated pool and gym all to myself which was nice. I really enjoyed their 8-11am breakfast with hot and cold items like scrambled eggs, bacon, cold meats, cheeses, and delicious bread selections. You can basically do it as a brunch and be good until apero time or even dinner. The hotel staff are kind and helpful, especially the breakfast team who provides 5-star service and a delicious start to your day. Definitely looking forward to my next stay at the Meridiana at the end of the month for the jazz fest. Thank you team Meridiana!

Hotel location is superb. It is on the promenade with small balcony overlooking the lake and front walk. However, hotel is overrated for 4 star and pricy. The room amenities are basic and the breakfast menu is basic and modest. They do not have or provide iron/iron table. Moreover, the entrance is 10-15 steps high which force you to lift the luggage all the way up. Otherwise use a steep rugged pathway. Special thanks for the receptionist Sonja for her cooperation and friendliness.
