Hotel La Palma Princess

We just got back from a 7 night all inclusive holiday to La Palma Princess. Honestly cannot fault it, it was so good. Staff amazing, kind and friendly. The food was superb, lots of options and some really tasty offerings. All fresh everyday. The room was great, we stayed in block 4 which was very peaceful. The room was kept lovely and fresh each day. Really great hotel with even greater staff. Thanks to all for a lovely break.

We just got back from our holiday staying at La Palma Princess with our baby and I cannot recommend it enough. It’s important to remember it’s quite an affordable hotel- so I think be realistic with what you expect. It’s just a great deal and an easy holiday for families/couples etc. The resort felt quiet despite it being half term- not ghost town quiet but quiet enough that you never had to worry about getting a sun lounger. Everyone was super relaxed about that and you could rock up to the pool at any time and have your pick of the loungers. The pools weren’t swamped with there being so many and sitting overlooking the ocean was really delightful! The food was wonderful- I was nervous having read reviews about there only being burgers but this absolutely isn’t true. There is a pool bar which serves more ‘basic’ food such as nuggets and burgers which I assume is aimed at kids. However, the main restaurant has fresh fish and lovely salads every day as well as hundreds of other options. You’ll literally be spoilt for choice and it was all delicious. We did the Wednesday bbq night which was a supplement cost and I would 100% recommend doing so- it was fab. Overall, the stay was amazing and we had a great time. It was easy, relaxing and very peaceful!

Terrible experience. Not family-friendly at all. We came looking for a quality family hotel and it was a huge disappointment. We requested a double bed months in advance because we were traveling with a baby, but were given two single beds pushed together. One was broken from the start and only replaced after we filed an official complaint. The room was old, poorly maintained, and we were given just two towels for the entire family. Cleaning was subpar from day one, and for the last three days there was no cleaning or towel change at all due to an internal strike—something no one warned us about. We had to walk daily to reception to request towels, as they never answered the phone and the resort is large. Every day we queued for breakfast and dinner, sat at dirty tables, and had to ask for clean dishes and cutlery. The food was repetitive and sometimes in bad condition. Myself and my daughter got food poisoning. The hotel accused us of lying and refused to admit responsibility and their only response was to offer a bland diet. The pools were dirty, the "heated" one was cold, and the environment was not family-friendly—guests drinking all day, even around kids’ areas. The playground was a single slide in dirty sand next to a volleyball court. If you're using a stroller, expect a maze of stairs and slopes with few elevators. The kids’ activities were very limited, poorly scheduled, and the kids’ area was almost always closed. It was a nightmare. Staff and management showed zero empathy or willingness to help. We filed a complaint and nothing was done. This hotel survives on mass foreign tourism. I would not recommend it to anyone, especially families. A stressful and overpriced experience. Never again.
