Hotel La Place

Stayed here beginning of July and it was excellent. All the staff across the hotel were so friendly, very accommodating , pleasant and professional. Breakfast choice was 5 star and plenty to choose from and although we only used the restaurant once in the evening the meal was of great standard. We took advantage of the mini bus most nights to take us to St Aubins and again the drivers were both very nice . Hotel very clean, bar and pool area also nice. Very peaceful location. The rooms were comfortable and clean with direct access onto the pool area. The breakfast had a vast selection of options and catered for all tastes. The staff were all very polite and the service was excellent in all areas of the hotel; the bar, restaurant and reception. My wife and I have stayed at the hotel 5 times over the last few years and the level of service has always been first class. It is a shame that the hotel is closing in October and being converted in holiday apartments as we will miss the comfort, food and service that will be very difficult to replicate at another hotel.

A beautiful hotel where nothing is too much trouble, remembering preferred options for breakfast, car shuttle service and every single member of staff being so friendly and helpful.
